Hottest gift for Xmas 2008 - tickets to Ellerslie’s Premier Garden Party

The hottest Christmas present for 2008 is a ticket to Ellerslie’s Premier Garden Party – Christchurch’s first social event of 2009.

Dust off your cocktail dress or best suit and be the first to see the award-winning gardens at the 2009 Ellerslie International Flower Show at their pristine best and without the crowds!

The Premier Garden Party is a charity event, being an official Ellerslie fundraiser for the New Zealand Cancer Society.

Ellerslie Managing Director Dave Mee says the Premier Garden Party is the ultimate social occasion, guests being able to wander at their leisure through the gardens, sipping bubbles, nibbling on canapés and listening to the soothing sounds of live jazz and light classical music

“This is also the opportunity to meet and talk to the garden designers as they wait for the judges to announce the medal winners.”

Ellerslie’s Premier Garden Party is modelled on the highly successful opening function at London’s Chelsea Flower Show to which guests pay £700 for two hours viewing. Tickets are limited to 5000 but such is the success of the event that there is a waiting list of 3600.

Ellerslie’s Premier Garden Party tickets are $175 per person and limited to 1000 tickets. Tickets can be purchased at www.ellerslieflowershow.co.nz
